Well, Well, Well! We hit the national news AGAIN for our Foodie Chops!
I love to eat out - and do it more than I probably should - although - as I think about it,
nope... I enjoy every bite and sip!
I remember the days when we were dry (as in no wine/beer/cocktails), nothing was open on Sundays and getting something to eat after about 9pm was basically impossible.
Say no more - those days are long gone for good ole RVA!
We have just hit the news yet again for our wonderful restaurants.
The latest accolade is an article in... get this... Garden and Gun -
the hip magazine that has sort of taken off like a bolt of...

Ice Cream Social a Big Hit!
Every Summer Kate and I host a pop-up Ice Cream social for our friends and clients.
We always ask everyone to bring school supplies - which tend to veer towards the pre-school and elementary age. This year we were delighted to instead get a great collection that was perfect for high schoolers.
My sister-in-law teaches ESL and English at Meadowbrook HS, so she and her fellow teachers were happy to show off some of the haul! Come join us next Summer!

New Affordable Houses in RVA
Affordable New Housing in RVA - isn't something we hear much about.
HH Hunt is at least making a start, but wouldn't it be wonderful if we could have
- New homes
- That aren't townhouses or postage stamped sized condos
- Are located in popular areas and
- Cost what many first-time buyers want to pay
I guess it's a dream - but at least this is a start.
If they are successful, maybe they'll put them up elsewhere, possibly downsize a bit, make them a little less glitzy and delete the garage - then we'd be talking maybe low $300,000 range?
Still pricey but at least more affordable.
